Wake Up And Stop Drinking The Kool-aid!

Well kids, here we are in that time of life where social media, news, society, politics, and religion are having their fun watching us drink their kool-aid and turn on each other like brain dead zombies.

Wake up! We are being played and we are falling for it all hook, line and sinker. We are no better than those we hate and bash. We have stooped to the lowest level and it never fails when this time of political rhetoric approaches. It never fails and we never fail to disappoint.

This isn't enlightenment. This isn't attractive. it's a nasty pussy infected disease that is rotting us from the inside. No matter how much we cover it up with our masks and photo shopped selfies and aesthetic social media posts, the ugliness and rot will continue to fester within us.

We are rotting on the vine and we are not helping anyone or ourselves. This game we are all caught up in is killing us and stunting our growth.

We aren't making this world a better place. We are not solving problems. We are not the change. Instead, we are the problem. We are the disease.

We claim to be enlightened, awakened, Christian, Spiritual, but we definitely changed the rules and don't follow the true meaning of those things. The golden rule only applies when we feel it suits us, but it suddenly doesn't exist when we decide to treat others the way we would never want to be treated.

There is cause and effect for everything. If we curse and hate on our brothers and sisters who do not agree with us on any topic or who are different than we are, it does come back to us. We are only shooting ourselves in the foot. When we bash others for their beliefs or political opinions, color of skin, native language spoken, ethnicity, etc., we are the pot calling the kettle black. We are no better than those we hate. Those words, those hateful emotions and thoughts, etc., come back to us and backfires. We only hurt ourselves when we intentionally spew that hurt on others. There isn't justification for our behavior as it makes us just as ugly as we think other are. If we want change, it begins with us. It doesn't begin by behaving the same way they do. It doesn't stop by adding fuel to the fire. It doesn't make the world a better place by our participation of slinging mud.

Think about it. We are just as responsible for what goes on in this world as we think others are.

Wake up!
